Use commercially available descaling liquids dedicated to coffee machines. The unit uses approximately 250 ml of liquid per descaling cycle.

Once the descaling cycle has started, the internal modules of the unit and the washing nozzle are automatically flushed through with the descaling liquid. The entire process takes place inside the unit. Once the descaling process is complete, the product can be used safely.

The lid and seat of the toilet seat have use the easy-off system, which is an easy-release system. Users can easily remove the seat themselves, wash it and reinstall it. No tools are required to clip the seat on and off.

The water temperature can be conveniently adjusted from the remote control or via the knobs on the ceramic bowl.

The water temperature is adjustable between 32-40 degrees.

The GENERA washing toilet has a water jet adjustment function, which is available from the control knob on the main module as well as from the remote control. Several water jet strength levels are available.

During oscillating washing, the washing nozzle changes its position – it moves back and forth, increasing the range of cleaned body surface.

In the toilet, the descaling cycle should be carried out regularly and any deposits/dirt should be removed from the product's cleaning nozzle on an ongoing basis. For ceramics, use commercially available care products.

In this case, we are talking about toilet paper, the production of which uses many raw materials that have a finite source – water or wood. The toilet itself allows the use of paper to be significantly reduced or eliminated altogether. Despite drawing small amounts of water for washing cycles, it fits perfectly into the trend of an ecological and environmentally conscious approach to our impact on the environment. In addition, ongoing hygienic maintenance with washing toilets will have the effect of reducing the use of water and other cleaning agents used in traditional washing.

Simple jobs such as replacing the toilet seat (lid or seat) can be done by the user themselves. Other repair work should be carried out by authorised/licensed service technicians.

If the washing toilet malfunctions, unplug the unit from the electricity supply, wait 3 minutes, and plug the power back in – if the product still does not function properly after doing this, contact the customer service line immediately under the number: +041 230 63 80

- check for power cuts;

- if other electrical appliances are operating, verify that the residual current fuse of the appliance is switched on;

- when verifying the above, it is also necessary to pay attention to the condition of the electrical connection – whether it is damaged, interrupted, punctured;

- the toilet performs its function in stand-by mode, which can be activated by pressing the 'on' button on the side panel of the unit.

Check that the remote control/knob batteries are correctly inserted and not dead, if the batteries are not inserted in the remote control/dial – insert them as instructed. If this did not solve the problem, re-pair the remote control/knob to the device - following the instructions supplied with the product. After this operation, turn on the power to the washing toilet – the devices will be paired. If the above steps have not solved the problem, please contact the customer service line.

When changing the mode, the washing tip first retracts into the machine for self-cleaning and then pulls out for a new selected programme. This is a normal operation of the device. The change of programme does not take place immediately, this is due to the product's hygiene assumptions.

The reason for the malfunction of the nozzle may be a defect in the water supply to the unit, in this case contact the customer service line or call an authorised/licensed service centre.

When inspecting the fault, pay attention to the water supply valve – whether it is closed or blocked (without water supply the unit cannot function).

The washing nozzle will also not work properly if it is clogged or scaled up. In this case, clean the nozzle using the “manual nozzle cleaning” programme (see product-specific instructions for details). In addition, it is advisable to carry out a descaling process for the unit, this will take care of the whole system and get rid of lime deposits from the washing toilet.

First, set a higher water spray intensity from the control knob or remote control. The next step is to check the condition of the nozzle and perform a cleaning. From the menu, select manual nozzle washing – the element will slide out of the body of the unit, giving the user access to the washing tip. The tip can be dismantled and washed under running water, then rechecked for operation after the tip has been placed in the nozzle and the nozzle manual cleaning programme has been completed. In addition, to maintain the unit, a descaling process should be carried out.

Verify that the water temperature has not been set to extreme values – too cold '1', too hot '5’ – using the knobs on the ceramic bowl or the remote control you can change the water temperature to a comfortable level, there are five settings (1-5) to choose from.

The washing toilet is programmed so that the washing function runs for approximately 3 minutes. After this time has elapsed, the washing nozzle switches off and slides back to the unit. This is a normal operation of the product. If you wish to reduce the washing time, you can disable the function manually by using the 'STOP' button on the remote control or by pressing the control knob on the side panel of the unit.

Both before and shortly after the washing function, the nozzle and the washing tip are washed with water to ensure maximum hygienic use of the product. This is a normal operation of the device.

The washing and drying function of the GENERA Ultimate washing toilet requires the user to sit on the toilet seat. The product has an infrared sensor that detects the user on the seat. If this type of problem occurs, adjust your position on the seat so that the sensor is covered by the user sitting on the seat.

Check that the drying temperature has not been set to extreme values – too cold '1' or too hot '5'. Using the remote control, you can adjust the temperature according to your preferences, with five different settings to choose from.
