The enclosures are equipped with a wall support bar featuring adjustable heads and a wall profile, ensuring precise and straightforward installation. They are available in a height of 200 cm, four widths (140, 120, 100 and 90 cm) and three profile finishes: Black, Chrome and Gold, allowing them to complement a wide range of interior styles. The enclosures can be installed with a shower tray or directly onto the floor, and are available in left- or right-hand versions. Hydrophobic coating
The glass panels of the KONTRA by Meissen Keramik walk-in shower enclosures are coated with an innovative hydrophobic coating (KlarZone technology) that repels water molecules from the glass surface and prevents the buildup of limescale and contaminants such as soap scum and dirt. This minimizes the risk of bacteria and mould growth. The coating causes water droplets to form larger beads that easily slide off the surface. It not only enhances convenience in daily use but also improves the aesthetic of the interior. The glass remains free from difficult-to-remove stains and streaks. The glass panel is easy to keep clean; simply rinse with water and wipe. The hydrophobic coating is applied during the glass production stage, ensuring that the coated surfaces maintain their pristine appearance for many years.
Wall support bracket with adjustable heads
The wall support bracket for the KONTRA by Meissen Keramik shower enclosures is an example of a practical solution combined with modern design. It ensures both stability and aesthetics for walk-in shower enclosures. The component features two adjustable heads, one on the glass side and one on the wall side. This allows for the installation of the enclosure at various angles depending on individual design needs, which is also crucial in spaces with wall irregularities. This solution works well in different room layouts. The 120 cm long bracket can be appropriately shortened to install the enclosure closer to the wall. There are three colour options available for the product: glossy chrome, matte black, and brushed gold.
