Meissen Keramik at CERSAIE 2025 Fair in Bologna
Meissen Keramik invites you, from 22nd to 26th of September, to the International Cersaie Fair 2025 in Bologna, which becomes the world’s centre of interior design and innovation. Cersaie is an event where the latest trends in ceramic tile design and bathroom furnishings will be showcased.
Meissen Keramik will showcase an extensive bathroom furnishings collection – KONTRA by Meissen Keramik. This collection offers all the essential elements needed to design a bathing space with architectural consistency. Top-quality materials, precise craftsmanship and advanced technologies are embodied in KONTRA by Meissen Keramik products: countertop and wall-mounted washbasins, furniture, stone countertops, freestanding bathtubs, and shower enclosures.
Meissen Keramik will present three premiere ceramic tile collections: CALDERA, LUMIERE and HORIZON. Their production involves innovative technologies that make it possible to combine different structures and finishes on a single tile, creating an entirely new dimension of aesthetics and functionality. The use of granilia (glossy, matt, satin) and special inks has made it possible not only to faithfully reproduce natural materials with unprecedented depth, texture and realism, but also to achieve a three-dimensional tile surface. Thanks to that, the tile does not only catch the eye, but also engages the senses – its texture can be felt under the fingertips, from soft finishes to stronger accents on its surface. This depth, realism and texture is something never before seen in ceramics.
LUMIERE is all about light – it plays the leading role, giving the collection its unique, almost crystalline character. Inspired by onyx and natural cristallo, its surface captivates with transparency, lightness and subtle depth of colour – from milky whites to warm creams and beiges. The entire tile gently sparkles with sugar granilia, while the veins highlighted with digital glue & granilia application and glossy ink acquire a pronounced three-dimensionality. It is an effect that can be both seen and felt – the surface impresses with softness and a variety of textures. The LUMIERE collection introduces an aura of luxury and elegance to interiors, while remaining subtle and exquisitely refined.
CALDERA draws its inspiration from natural limestone, whose charm lies in delicate tonal shifts and irregular inclusions. Through the digital glue & granilia application, the base surfaces acquire three-dimensional detailing, deep veining and subtle glossy ink highlights that interact beautifully with the light. The structured “striped” version additionally offers a tangible texture under the fingertips, bringing contemporary dynamism and architectural rhythm to the space. Warm shades of white, beige, muted greys and browns infuse interiors with harmony and timeless elegance, creating the perfect backdrop for both minimalist and more decorative arrangements. CALDERA combines the natural character of stone with refined detailing technology of XXIst centaury.
HORIZON is a collection that reveals the beauty of stone in its most subtle form. Inspired by the structure of limestone, it enchants with soft transitions of beige, grey and cream, creating an organic pattern with a delicately cloud-like character. Thanks to the digital glue & granilia application, the surface gains a striking three-dimensional quality – some veins are raised, while others shimmer with glossy ink. This makes the tile transform depending on the angle of the light, delighting with a refined play of textures and details that can be felt to the touch. The HORIZON collection brings calm and harmony into interiors, providing an elegant foundation for both classic and contemporary designs.
